Follow these steps to start selling access to your community:

1. Sign up at kordhub.com
2. Connect Stripe to receive payments
3. Invite Kordhub bot to your Discord server
4. Create a payment link with your price and role
5. Share your link on social media, Discord, or your website

Discord Setup Guide

Setting up Kordhub with Discord is simple. Follow these steps:

1. Log into your Discord account
2. Create a server or use an existing one
3. Create a premium role (e.g., "VIP Member")
4. Set channel permissions - only premium role can view paid channels
5. Go to your Kordhub dashboard and click "Connect Discord" — this both invites the bot to your server and links your account
6. Select your server and create a payment link
7. Assign the premium role to your payment link

Telegram Setup Guide

Kordhub connects to your own Telegram bot (created via @BotFather) to grant and revoke access to a private group automatically.

1. Create your bot

1. Open Telegram and search for @BotFather (it has a blue checkmark — make sure you're messaging the official one)
2. Send /newbot and follow the prompts: choose a display name, then a username that must end in "bot" (e.g. mycommunity_bot)
3. BotFather replies with a token that looks like 123456789:AAExampleTokenTextHere — copy it, this is what you'll paste into Kordhub

2. Find your group's ID

1. Add your new bot to the private group you want to gate, and make it an admin with permission to invite/remove members
2. Add @getidsbot to the same group temporarily — it will post the group's numeric ID (it looks like -1001234567890, starting with a minus sign)
3. Copy that ID, then remove @getidsbot from the group — it was only needed to look up the ID, not for anything ongoing

3. Connect in Kordhub

1. Go to Dashboard → Connected Hubs → Connect Telegram, and paste your bot token
2. Paste the group ID you found in step 2, and verify it
3. Members verify their Telegram identity once at checkout — access is granted automatically after payment, and revoked automatically when a subscription ends

Streaming Setup Guide

Setting up Kordhub with TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Instagram or Facebook takes under a minute — no login, no bot, no approval needed from the platform.

1. Go to Dashboard → Connected Hubs
2. Click "+ Add streaming hub" and pick your platform
3. Enter a display name (your @handle or channel name) — this is what viewers see in alerts
4. Copy your gift link and share it in your bio or stream description
5. Copy your overlay URL and add it as a Browser Source in OBS, Streamlabs, or TikTok Studio

Stripe Connect Setup

Connect your Stripe account to start receiving payments:

1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Payments
2. Click "Connect with Stripe"
3. Follow Stripe's onboarding flow
4. Verify your business information
5. Start accepting payments!

Payment Links

Create unlimited payment links for different subscription tiers. Each link can have its own price, currency, and role assignment.

Share these links anywhere - Twitter, Instagram, Discord, or your website. When a member pays, they automatically get the assigned role.

Who Pays the Fee?

Every sale has two real costs: Stripe's card processing fee and Kordhub's platform commission. By default, you (the creator) absorb both — the buyer pays exactly your listed price, and these costs come out of what you receive. In Advanced Configuration when creating or editing a payment link, you can override this per link:

• Use my account default — follows whatever you've set for your account as a whole.
• I absorb it — the buyer pays your exact listed price. Fees are deducted from what you receive, same as most platforms.
• Buyer pays it — the price shown at checkout is increased to cover both fees, so you receive the full listed price with nothing deducted.

Auto-Role System

Our Discord bot automatically:

• Assigns roles to paying members instantly
• Removes roles when subscriptions expire
• Removes roles when payments fail or are canceled
• Gates access to premium channels

Subscription Management

Kordhub handles all subscription management automatically:

• Monthly recurring billing via Stripe
• Automatic payment retries on failure
• Customer portal for members to manage their subscription
• Cancel anytime - no lock-in contracts

Referral Program

Refer other community owners to Kordhub and earn recurring commissions:

• Get a unique referral link in your dashboard
• Share it with other creators
• Earn 15% of their monthly subscription for 12 months

Leveling System

Today, members earn XP by sending paid Gifts in your Discord server — the amount depends on which gift they send.

When members reach enough XP, they level up and automatically unlock level roles you configure.

XP Configuration

You can configure these from your dashboard — message and voice settings are saved for when that tracking goes live, they don't affect anything yet:

• XP per message (default: 5-15 random) — not active yet
• Voice XP per minute (default: 2 XP/minute) — not active yet
• Level up messages and announcements — active for Gift-based XP today

Rank Cards

Use the /rank command to see your current level and XP progress. Server owners can customize the color of the progress bar and text from the dashboard.

Leaderboards

Use /leaderboard to see the top 10 members by XP in your server, all-time — no weekly/monthly reset, no separate voice-only ranking.

Gifts (KordGifts)

Let your community send you real, paid gifts — from Discord, or directly on TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Instagram and Facebook. Every gift shows up live with an alert and, on Discord, awards XP too.

• Buyers don't need a Kordhub account — on Discord they connect and pay in one page; on streaming platforms they just enter a display name, no login required
• Each gift has its own price, XP reward, and public announcement
• The Crypto Whale ($499.99) also grants a temporary role for 7 days — you choose which role from your server gets assigned
• Your share of each gift depends on your plan — see Pricing on the homepage
• Senders can add a short optional message (70 characters, emoji included) — it shows next to the alert on your overlay, and as a separate field in the Discord announcement

KordShoutouts

Sell custom, one-off requests — a personalized video greeting, a code review, portfolio feedback, a detailed answer to a specific question. Whatever you can deliver personally, someone can pay for.

• You set your own price, delivery time (1-30 days), and what kind of response you'll give (video, audio, or a file/long text)
• You can ask the buyer for specific info up front — a GitHub link, a name, a question — whatever your service needs
• Payment is authorized when they order, but never charged until you mark it delivered — if you miss the deadline, the hold simply expires and nothing is charged
• You set a cap on how many pending orders you'll accept at once — once you hit it, the service pauses itself until you catch up, so you never accept more than you can deliver in time
• To deliver, just paste a link (Google Drive, Dropbox, wherever you already host files) — Kordhub never stores the file itself

Events

Sell access to a one-time event — a workshop, an AMA, a live session. Access opens for that specific date and closes on its own afterward, no manual cleanup needed.

• Set a single date instead of a recurring billing cycle
• Works the same as Membership links — auto-role on payment
• Great for one-off paid sessions that shouldn't stay open forever

Coupons

Create discount codes for your payment links — percentage off or a fixed amount.

• Set a code, a discount type, and an optional expiration date
• Limit how many times a code can be redeemed
• Tie a coupon to one specific link, or let it apply across all of them

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to set up?

Most creators are live and collecting payments within 10 minutes of signing up.

Do I need technical skills?

None at all. If you can use Discord, you can set up Kordhub.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, no contracts and no lock-in. Cancel or downgrade anytime from your dashboard.

Where does the money go?

Money goes directly to your Stripe account. We never hold your funds.

What payment methods are supported?

Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Link, and Cash App Pay via Stripe. Available methods can vary slightly by region.

Troubleshooting

The bot is not assigning roles

Make sure the bot has "Manage Roles" permission and that the role you're trying to assign is below the bot's highest role in Discord's role hierarchy.

Members are not receiving their role after payment

Check that the bot's role is positioned above the role it needs to assign in Discord's role hierarchy, and that the member hasn't already left the server.

XP is not being awarded

Verify that Boost is activated in your dashboard and that the member is in a text channel the bot can read.
